Eight of us enjoyed a glorious Spring Walk in Slindon Woods, thanks to Jan. Unfortunately the bluebells had finished but we were lucky to see a glade of pink wild orchids and other wild flowers. We walked on to the Folly on Nore Hill where we had sweeping views of the coastal plain and the English Channel beyond, finishing with a stroll through the tranquil village of Slindon.
This was the last day-time walk but truly one to remember, not forgetting our interesting and informative discussion with the dairy farmer on the loss of England’s dairy herds !
