At our March meeting the winner of our driftwood construction competition was Karen McCreedy with this superb sculpture …

… and Karen has just let us know that she has won second prize in the Writers’ News magazine short story competition (theme: “Comeuppance”).  The story (which is set at a science-fiction convention) will be published online in a few months’ time, and you can be sure there will be a link to it here … watch this space!
