The theme for the February round of our 2015 Competition Cup was a  ‘Valentine – or not’ poem.

June Nesbitt was the worthy winner and here (belatedly) is her verse:

Valentine,Valentine please be mine,
I’m old & decrepit but like a good time,
We could sit by the sea & reminisce
If you are lucky I might steal a kiss.
Please answer me soon as time marches on
And my last chance will soon be gone.
