Fitness Fundraiser for My Sisters House

Our Facebook page has received a message from Jacqueline Hooton about an event which I think some of you may find interesting.

Celebrating International Women’s Day, Jacqueline is hosting a fitness fundraiser event on Tuesday 7th March at her personal training and small group fitness studio, Her Garden Gym, in Felpham. She is running free fitness and personal training sessions throughout the day in exchange for donations to My Sisters’ House. Women who are interested will need to book in advance as space is limited.

The link for the event on Facebook is …

Anyone who cannot make the event, but would like to show their support, can donate on the localgiving page….

Sessions will be running throughout the day and women attending the day can select from a variety of different training options including

Her Pilates – a gentle mat based class suitable for beginners, developing an understanding of the key principles and benefits of Pilates

Her Circuits – a total body conditioning session which improves strength and stamina. Perfect for those looking for fat blasting workout

Her Strength – a resistance training session incorporating body weight and a range of hand held weights. Discovering how weights can help sculpt, define and tone

Her Choice – an option to try a variety of different training tools or systems or focus on a troublesome body part!
