What a wonderful sunny Saturday for our Nordic walking taster session. The setting was Hotham Park and 10 of our members provided entertainment for many of the families who were out enjoying the early Spring sunshine. Denise and Alison from Littlehampton Nordic walking showed us how to clip onto the poles and swing our arms. They soon had us all striding out amongst the trees singing ‘The Grand Old Duke of York’ to help give us the rhythm needed for a good technique. No wonder we drew so much attention! It was a very enjoyable session and hopefully our muscles won’t be too sore tomorrow.
