On a balmy summer’s evening when the tide was high, a gaggle of brave members met at Gina’s house to enjoy the first of a new type of social event. First off was the swim as the bathing beauties teetered down the beach and enjoyed a wonderful time in the (almost) Mediterranean warmth of the sea.

Completely refreshed, it was back to the house to dry off and begin the sampling from a range of eight gins, including three hand crafted versions, paired with a variety of tonics. With nibbles, lots of chat, and a good deal of fun it will hopefully become an annual event, although whether the weather will be as kind to us next year remains to be seen!
