The Art Group meets in Lynn’s kitchen for an afternoon of drawing, painting and colouring … tea, laughter, chat (and occasionally cake or biscuits)! We meet from 1.30-4.30 on one Wednesday and one Thursday a month.

The afternoons are a lovely way for people to get to know each other whilst sharing ways to create pictures and colour them. The range of skills is very diverse, from complete beginners to the more experienced, so everyone is welcome.

We really enjoy sharing ideas and techniques and cover a wide range of subjects.  Last year, one of our group created a beautiful watercolour which achieved a Commended at the South of England Show.

Everyone is free to create whatever takes their fancy as there is no structure to the afternoon, or any tuition – though we are all happy to pitch in with ideas and encouragement if requested.
