Ingredients:
1 ½ lb Runner Beans (when dry trimmed and sliced)
1 ½ lb granulated sugar
1 pint malt vinegar
1 tsp ground spice
s & p
Method:
- Boil beans for 10 mins
- Mix together all the other ingredients and place in a saucepan with the strained beans.
- Bring back to the boil for 5 mins.
- Place in clean, warm jars.
- Store for 2 weeks to develop flavour.
