OUR WI – My Time as President

I am proud of who we are

The liveliest WI by far

We laugh, we learn, we moan and groan

And I’m exhausted when I get home.

Committee helps me concentrate

Eating cake, and staying up late.

Without their effort and their care

I would have floundered and tossed my hair.

Our activity groups grow and grow

And what a lot we have to show!

Speakers tell us more of course

One let us down, full of remorse.

Chin up they say and carry on

Another Dimension will keep us strong

It’s true you know, our WI life

Keeps away the stress and strife

However, best of all,

It’s you the members

Who’ve helped me walk tall!
